Surely everywhere sugar cane is cultivated, they also distill Rum or however the distillate is called there.

On la Guadeloupe in the French Antilles we learned to love the Ti'Punch. Like many good recipe this captivates by its simplicity:

A spoon or two of cane sugar, a slice of lime and white rum to taste. ....That's it!

You can add some ice if you like. Just stir and press out the lime with your spoon and ENJOY!

In many places on la Guadeloupe you are served the drinking-glass together with a bottle of Rum d'Agricole, a spoon, some limeslices and a bowl with the sugar.

Somehow this Ti ' Punch is for us an embodiment of caribbean life style. Therefore (you may already have noticed it!) our boat has gotten its name.

Also our crew member Jimmy B. - as one can see - is not against a sip.
